Larsen & Toubro receive 40 massive BESS container systems from Hithium, each with a capacity of 3.44Mwh. For reference, just one of these BESS can power 1,075 houses for one day. So 40 of them could power 43,000 houses for one day. These aren’t just batteries—they are dangerous energy storage units capable of causing severe harm or crippling infrastructure.

Larsen & Toubro acquire another 40+ massive BESS container systems from Hithium.

In just over a month, Larsen & Toubro have spent over 24 million USD in acquiring 80+ massive BESS container systems from Hithium, a company under the direct control of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), entities that have consistently demonstrated their disregard for India’s sovereignty and security.
These 80 BESS container systems can power 86,000 houses but what is the good of that if China can, on demand, shut them down, or worse what if they can make them have a catastrophic failure? Our own companies are paying to let the enemy in.
